BIOGRAPHY
John and Rhonda were born and currently reside in Winston Salem NC, sharing their birthdays in February, 3 days apart (20th, 23rd). They met through a mutual friend in 2003 and became inseparable and married in 2008. They both are HBCU graduates. John with a degree in business and Rhonda with degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Clinical Laboratory Science. They have been married for 15 years as of 2019 and have 2 beautiful children Tamry and Josiah Smith.

Rhonda is a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO), North Carolina Dance Education Organization (NCDEO), International Association of Professional Organization (IAPO), and is a certified dance studio owner. They both served on Kingdom Order Arts dance ministry as leaders/choreographers, and are currently the directors of Cornerstone of Faith dance ministry. They have been facilitators at G3 dance school for 3 years and have hosted several unity dances in their community as well as an annual COJ Christmas program for 6 years. As part of their outreach they assisted in training 4 different ministries through workshops and Seminars.
2018 marks 4 years since they have been attending Greater Allen Cathedrals worship conference in New York to receive 3 day intensive training. They are currently students at Divine Dance Institute (DDI) in Maryland where they are continuing their dance education.
In 2018, John and Rhonda decided to pursue their vision to start a 501c3 nonprofit organization called Forever A Dancer Inc.; whose sole purpose is to equip each dancer with the essential techniques to develop their gift in order to enhance dance fluency and movement vocabulary while displaying excellence. Forever A Dancer Dance Academy became a member of the W-S Black Chamber of Commerce and began classes in January 2019 and successfully completed it's first annual dance showcase (Beyond Words) in May 2019.
