About Us
Biography
Forever A Dancer Dance Academy was founded in 2018 by John
and Rhonda Smith, who decided to pursue their vision to start a 501c3
nonprofit organization; Whose sole purpose is to empower generations of
dancers to enhance dance fluency by offering affordable dance programs
to the community.
John and Rhonda became dance students in 2016 at Divine Dance
Institute and began teaching dance classes at Forever A Dancer in
January 2019. During the summers they focus on community service, to
nurture artist and create a space where culture, artistry and excellence
thrives. Rhonda became a certified dance studio owner in 2021. They are
also members of the W-S Black Chamber of Commerce, North Carolina
Dance Education Organization (NCDEO), and the International Association
of Professional Organization (IAPO).
Our Mission
Forever A Dancer (4EAD) is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering dancers through the dvevelopment of foundational techniques that enhance their movement vocabulary, fluency, and overall excellence. We strive to nurture and cultivate each dancer's unique gift, fostering growth and skill in a supportive environment.


Our Vision
We aim to strengthen the bond between our community and the performing arts, creating opportunities for connection, growth, and inspiration. Our vision is to expand our reach, impacting dancers and arts enthusiasts from one community to the next, with a lasting influence that extends beyond borders.
